Il segnale venuto l'altra sera dalla Direzione provinciale del Partito Democratico, non può non essere interpretato come una prova di grande compattezza e una vera e propria iniezione di entusiasmo nel corpo del centrosinistra riminese. Centocinquanta persone presenti e voto all'unanimità delle candidature, riconosciute da tutti come forti, credibili, radicate, competenti e rappresentative di tutti i mondi che compongono la galassia del Partito Democratico.
Se dovevamo dare buona prova della nostra voglia e capacità di confermarci al governo di questo territorio, giovedì sera è venuta. Il programma e le donne e gli uomini dei partiti e dei movimenti che formano la coalizione sono gli altri capisaldi di una proposta di governo e di relazione con il territorio innovativa e completa.
E' alla luce della grandissima partecipazione e del grande calore dell'altra sera, che dispiace ancora di più la lettera di dimissioni del segretario comunale di Rimini, Luigi Bonadonna. Gigi è una persona che conosco, un amico; proprio per questo ritengo plausibile spiegare ciò come un momento di difficoltà personale a gestire l'enorme stress di questo periodo piuttosto che dargli coloriture politiche che l'unanimità della Direzione dimostra nei fatti inconsistenti. Mi dispiace e credo sia giusto chiedere a Gigi di ripensarci e ritirare quella lettera. C'è ancora molto lavoro da fare e l'entusiasmo della Direzione dice che lo vogliamo fare tutti insieme.
